Tuner module which plugs into the holder, which plugs into the E1XM.I really enjoy XM radio for its content, and clean signal.There are almost 200 channels of various kinds of music, news, sports, entertainment, and other things for your listening pleasure most of the time.
Works just fine. I have mine behind the stereo, since I never plan on removing the mini tuner. I use a coax type antenna. No problems. Moves around a lot due to it's light wieght. I dont't use the antenna that came with it.
Unfortunately, I had to return it as I ordered the wrong item. Nothing wrong with it so I didn't downgrade it.
I just wish they had enlisted an industrial designer with a little "Apple" sense - the dock is almost twice as big as it needs to be. The whole mini-tuner concept by XM is GREAT. The product works extremely well. I am therefore moving it out of sight, which should solve that problem while making it a touch more inaccessible for easy swapping of the mini-tuner to my car.
No need to place the antenna in the window. Displayed all of the relevent information. This product worked as promised. It plugged directly into my reciever. It got excellent reception.
